1. Who we are
ReputeIQ (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides an AI-powered review response platform. Our service is operated by Alchemy Labs LLC. For privacy-related enquiries, contact us at support@repute-iq.com.
2. What data we collect
- Account data: email address, authentication provider (Google, Apple, or magic link).
- Business profile data: business name, type, tone preferences, keywords, and sample responses you provide.
- Review data: customer reviews you paste or sync from Google Business Profile, and the AI-generated response drafts.
- Google Business Profile tokens: OAuth tokens needed to sync reviews and post replies on your behalf. Tokens are encrypted at rest.
- Billing data: Stripe customer and subscription IDs. Full payment card details are handled by Stripe and never stored on our servers.
- Usage data: response generation counts, copy events, and activity logs for team accounts.
- Analytics: page views and product events collected via PostHog to improve the product. No personal data is sold to third parties.
3. How we use your data
- To provide and improve the ReputeIQ service.
- To generate AI-powered review responses using the Anthropic Claude API. Your review text and business context are sent to Anthropic solely to generate your reply drafts.
- To process subscription payments via Stripe.
- To sync reviews and post responses via the Google Business Profile API when you authorise this integration.
- To send transactional emails (weekly digest, account notifications) via Resend.
4. Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Generated responses and synced reviews are kept indefinitely unless you delete them or delete your account. If you close your account, all associated data is permanently deleted within 30 days.
5. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
- Access & portability: Export a copy of all your data from Account Settings → Data & Privacy → Export data.
- Deletion: Delete your account and all associated data from Account Settings → Danger Zone. This cancels any active subscription and permanently removes all data.
- Correction: Update your business profile and account information directly within the app.
- Objection / restriction: Contact us at support@repute-iq.com to restrict processing.
EU/UK residents may exercise rights under the GDPR / UK GDPR. California residents may exercise rights under the CCPA. We aim to respond to all requests within 30 days.
7. Third-party services
- Anthropic — AI response generation. Your review text and business context are sent to Anthropic solely to generate reply drafts.
- Stripe — payment processing. Card details are handled entirely by Stripe and never stored on our servers.
- Google — optional Business Profile integration for syncing reviews and posting replies on your behalf.
- A database and authentication provider hosted in the United States.
- An application hosting provider.
- A transactional email provider for sending digests and account notifications.
- A product analytics provider for understanding how the service is used. No personal data is sold.
8. International transfers
Our infrastructure is primarily hosted in the United States. If you are located in the EU/EEA or UK, your data is transferred to the US under Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the app. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
